All Minnesota communities are strongest when connected.
Whether we are driving a load of grain to
market on a township road, or driving a
busload of children to school, safe roads
and bridges are essential to success.
We must make the investments to
border-to-border broadband access,
updates to our drinking and sewage
treatment systems, public rural transit
expansion in an effort to provide rural
revitalization.
By making meaningful investments in
community infrastructure including affordable housing, utility systems, transportation and broadband - we are making communities stronger. By increasing County Program Aid, School Aid, and Local Government Aid, local property taxes will be reduced.
In 2021 I will work to do the following:
-
Sustainable, comprehensive funding of our transportation system
-
Investment in broadband internet
-
Increase to LGA & CPA to reduce local property tax burden
-
Increase affordable housing options by working together with regional partners
-
Prioritizing drinking and sewage systems in future bonding legislation
